This is Spornado’s first season monitoring in rice, and we’ve received our first positive Spornado detection of the season for Cercospora janseana, the fungal pathogen responsible for Narrow Brown Leaf Spot (NBLS) in rice.
This detection marks an important point in the season for disease monitoring and field awareness. Spore trapping and monitoring tools like Spornado continue to provide valuable insight into pathogen presence and potential disease risk in rice production systems.
